I'm Maddy — Vella started with me behind someone else's chair, slowly building a client list of people who trusted me with their hair. Opening my own space in Scarborough was always where that was headed.
It's built the way I always wished I could work — unhurried, personal, and set up around actually getting your hair right, not just moving to the next appointment.
Every detail in the space was chosen on purpose — warm neutral tones, soft lighting, textures that feel more like a room in a home than a salon. The idea is that the second you walk in, the outside world gets a little quieter. You're not just getting your hair done, you're stepping out of your day for a while.
